First edition, first printing. Original orange cloth with black lettering to the spine. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents, except for a neat previous owner's name in ink to the front free endpaper, are clean and bright throughout. Tiny bump to the upper outer corner of the front panel. The dustwrapper, except for a 1 cm closed tear to the upper edge of the front panel and minimal edgewear, is fine and bright. The wrapper is unclipped, the original 12s. 6d. covered by the publisher's 'First Cheap 8/6 net edition' sticker. A lovely, bright, sharp copy of a scarce book.
