The contents are clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the fine original dustwrapper, that is without fading, loss or tears.

Issued in a limited edition of 500 copies, this example is numbered 318 and signed by Jeff Vandermeer and Ann Vandermeer in black ink on the limitation page. A short story set in the universe of Jack Vance's 'Dying Earth' series, originally published in the anthology 'Songs of the Dying Earth: Stories in Honour of Jack Vance' (Subterranean Press, 2009), edited by George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois. This expanded version, with an afterword by Ann VanderMeer, the author's wife and an influential science fiction editor and publisher, is the author's preferred version. Issued on the occasion of Capclave 2010, a science fiction convention run by WSFA, where Jeff and Ann VanderMeer were the featured guests.
