Top edge green. With a colour frontispiece and double page black and white illustration by Karl Fitzgerald, a colour double page spread and a further three black and white illustrations by Francois Vaillancourt. Custom lettering by Dan Sauer. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the near fine dustwrapper, which is a touch rubbed along the bottom edge and is otherwise free from fading, loss or tears.

Issued in and edition of 500 copies, from which this example is numbered 18, and signed by the illustrator Francois Vaillancourt in blue, calligrapher Dan Sauer in black, and author of the introduction Michael Swanwick in green ink on the colophon. The colophon also contains the facsimile signature of the author John Brunner and illustrator Karl Fitzgerald. Nominated for the 1976 Locus Award for 'Best Science Fiction Novel'.
