First edition in book form, first printing. Publisher's original blue cloth with black titles to the upper board and spine, without dustwrapper. Top edge yellow. Deckled fore-edge. Publisher's device on the copyright page, as called for. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm, with a little rubbing and bumping to the spine tips and extremities, the cloth with a few marks and toning to the spine. The closed text block edge is a little toned. The contents, with a some offsetting to the endpapers and the occasional foxing spot, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.
