Illustrated with a tipped in black and white engraving of a Linnet nesting in the Briar by Ann Tout. Marbled cover papers by Ann Muir. Set in Goudy Old Style and printed on an Arab foot-powered press, using archival quality paper. Pages uncut. Prospectus loosely laid in. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.
Issued in an edition of 50 copies with this example number 24 and signed by the artists Ann Tout in pencil below her tipped in etching and Ann Muir in black ink on the colophon. There was also an edition of 200 numbered copies which were unsigned. Comprising of three songs 'A Rose-Bud by my Early Walk' (1788), 'My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose' (1794), 'The Banks O'Doon' (1791).
