First edition, first printing. Shirley Hughes' retained copy, signed by her. Original blue cloth with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout in black and white by Shirley Hughes. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper which is a little toned to the spine and has a tiny short closed tear to the top of the rear panel. Clipped and repriced (16s) to the front panel.
