The trade edition was issued in an edition of 1000 copies. An edition of 100 numbered, signed and slipcased copies were also issued simultaneously. A collection of ten of Jack Williamson's science fiction stories from the first decade of his career, drawn from such pulp magazines as 'Amazing Stories', 'Science Wonder Stories', 'Air Wonder Stories', and 'Astounding Stories'. The novel 'The Birth of a New Republic', co-written with Miles J. Breuer, M.D., is published here for the first time. Volume one in Haffner Press's 'The Collected Stories of Jack Williamson' series.
