Issued in an edition of 300 copies, this example is numbered 189 and signed by Jonathan Carroll, the designer Ryder Carroll (also the author's son), and illustrators Michelle Lopes and David Mattingly in blue and black ink, respectively, on the limitation page to the rear. 'The Land of Laughs' was originally published in 1980 by Viking Press, USA, and is the author's first novel.
