Issued in an edition of 111 copies, from which this example is numbered 94, and signed by the author Jack Vance and illustrator David Ireland in black ink on the limitation page. The third book in Vance's 'Planet of Adventure' series, relating the adventures of Adam Reith, sole survivor of an Earth ship investigating a signal from the distant planet Tschai. Although the novels are thematically linked, each is a self-contained story.
