A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, with some bumping to the spine tips and extremities, and just a touch of fading to the head of the spine. The contents, with very light toning to the text block, are otherwise clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. This edition marks the first time the collection was published in book form and in the UK. Nominated for the 1976 Hugo, Nebula and Locus Awards, this Gollancz edition was nominated for the 1977 Locus Award for best 'author collection'.
