Housed in the original blue cloth slipcase. With a two colour screenprint on plywood, housed in a glassine envelope.

The Captain's Alphabet was first published as a series of prints in 2000 by Merivale Editions in Putney. The edition of a few dozen sets sold out at the launch. This first edition in book form was issued in an edition of 950 copies, the first 100 of which made up the 'special edition' each signed, numbered and slipcased with a signed original print. Both the book and print are signed by Jonny Hannah and numbered 49/100.
