With a black and white uncredited frontispiece illustration. A very good copy, the binding firm with minor bumping to the tips of the lightly rolled spine. There is some spotting to the closed text-block edge, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.

Issued in a limited edition of 1000 copies. The fifth and final book in Jack Vance's 'Demon Princes' science fiction series that follows one man's fight against interstellar organised crime. Published in September 1981 following the DAW paperback original, in January of the same year.
