SOMETHING LEATHER

First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original blue cloth with gilt decorations and lettering to front, back and spine, in dustwrapper. A very fine copy, tight and square, without marks or blemishes. Yellow endpapers. Complete with the fine dustwrapper, designed by the author. Not price-clipped and correctly priced (12.95 net) to the front flap. An immaculate copy.

Signed by the author, without dedication, to the front free endpaper. The author's fifth novel, like the third and fourth, is partly based on earlier plays; the epilogue, "Critical Fuel", details these derivations. The boards (including the spine) are decorated with golden wasps, which surround the vertically printed greetings, "Hello" and "Goodbye", printed respectively to the front and back. (Moores B5a).
