Publisher's original light brown cloth decorated with blue floral motifs to the background, titles and illustrations stamped in gilt to the upper board and spine. Floral decorated endpapers. Illustrated with 23 colour plates mounted within a decorative border, each with a captioned tissue guard. The text also with a decorative border. A very near fine copy, the binding square and tight, bright and fresh with just a hint of rubbing to the extremities. The contents are clean throughout and inscriptions or stamps. There are a few small marks to the closed text block edge. All plates and tissue guards are in fine condition. Housed in a bespoke blue quarter morocco solander case, with five raised bands and titles in gilt to the spine. A lovely copy.
