First edition, first printing. Original red cloth with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with some bumping to the top edge of the spine, the cloth and gilt bright and fresh. Map endpapers. The contents, with a small previous owner's name on the front endpaper, and a touch of spotting to the closed top edge of the text block, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (30/- to the lower front flap).
