First edition, first printing. Original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the supplied first printing dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, with a touch of bumping at the extremities, the cloth and gilt bright with just a couple of minor marks. The contents, spotted to the prelims are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Two pages have a short closed tear to the blank lower margin. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a few tiny chips and short closed tears at the spine tips and corners and some fading of the spine. Not price-clipped (7/6 on the front flap). A very scarce title in dustwrapper.
