Issued in an edition of 250 copies, from which this example is numbered 84 and signed by Dan Simmons in blue ink on the limitation page. Nominated for the 1990 Locus Award in the 'Science Fiction Novel' category (he would go on to win the category with his other nomination 'Hyperion').
