MURDER FOR THE BRIDE

First UK edition, first printing. Original black cloth with gilt lettering to the spine, in the dustwrapper illustrated by Rafael Cortiella. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth clean and sharp, the contents clean throughout. The upper spine tip is a little softened and the lower outer corners are lightly bumped. In the bright, neatly price-clipped dustwrapper, rubbed to spine tips and corners, with a small mark (with no abrasion) visible to the rear panel where a price sticker has been removed. A very nice copy of the scarce first hardback edition.

Originally published in paperback format in 1951. "'She may look like an angel, but she's a tramp'. That was what Bryant's best friend said, and that was when Bryant hit him. [...] This is real vintage JDM, luscious, full-bodied and with the authentic bouquet." (from the jacket). (Hubin).
