First edition, first printing. Publisher's original red boards and gilt titling to the spine, in dustwrapper. Top edge red. Illustrated with black and white photographs by Peter Boston. A better than very good copy, the binding tight and square, the cloth lightly marked and toned to the board edges, with bumped and rubbed corners. The text block edges is a little toned and there is some fading to the red top stain. The contents are clean and free from inscriptions or stamps. Complete with a better than very good dustwrapper, that is lightly toned to the spine and rubbed and nicked to the fold edges and corners. There are three small closed tears to the edges of the front panel and one to the top of the back panel.
