LONESOME TRAVELLER

First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original red cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the photo-illustrated dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with just a little bumping to the extremities, the cloth and gilt bright and fresh. Complete with the rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a small chip to the top edge of the front panel and some mild toning to the spine. Not price-clipped (15s net to the lower front flap).

A collection of eight essays on themes of relationship, work, and life on the road. The American edition was published in 1960 by McGraw-Hill Book Company.
