The 'Artist' edition, issued in an edition of 1000 copies, this example is one of 750 un-numbered copies signed by the illustrator Matt Mahurin in blue ink on the colophon. The author's seventh novel, and a sequel to Blatty's horror masterpiece 'The Exorcist' (Harper & Row, NY: 1971). 'Legion' was first published in 1983 by Simon & Schuster, to critical acclaim. Blatty later adapted novel into 'The Exorcist III', writing both the screenplay and directing the 1990 motion picture.
