LAP OF HONOUR

First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Publisher's original red paper-covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Top edge red. A very near fine copy, the binding square and tight, bright and fresh with just a little bumping at the spine tips. The contents are clean and bright throughout and without previous owners' marks. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that remains bright and without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (25s net to the lower front flap).

Signed by Hugh MacDiarmid in blue ink on the front endpaper. This collection was published to coincide with the poet's seventy-fifth birthday.
