Illustrated with 14 red and black in-text illustrations facing chapter headings. A very near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the cloth bright and fresh with a small mark to the head of the spine. The contents, with a touch of spotting to the top edge of the text block, are clean throughout and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps.

Issued in an edition of 500 copies, from which this example is numbered 371, and signed by the authors Neil Gaiman and Michael Reaves in dark blue and black ink, respectively, on the limitation page. A fantasy and science fiction young adult novel of interdimensional travel, following a high school student and his parallel-universe alternate selves as they attempt to find a cosmic balance between science and magic. The novel was first published in 2007 by EOS, and is the first in a trilogy, preceding 'The Silver Dream' (2013) and 'Eternity's Wheel' (2015). A second Subterranean Press edition released in 2013 was illustrated by Jon Foster and again signed by the authors.
