INDEPENDENCE: THE ARGUMENT FOR HOME RULE

First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original illustrated paper wrappers. A fine, as new copy with no marks or blemishes to note. Priced (£9.99) to the rear panel.

Signed in black ink to the half-title. Following "How We Should Rule Ourselves" (2005), "Independence" was published in June 2014, in time for the referendum held later that year. The multi-coloured cover, designed and illustrated by the author, offers a diagrammatic précis of the argument within. Centred around a Scottish thistle, a series of arrows bearing the names of nations, religions and ethnicities (historical and present) point inwards and outwards, encapsulated by the legend, "OUTGOERS AND INCOMERS MADE, MAKE EVERY LAND", emblazoned around the outer frame.
