Enid Marx (1902-1998) was a British textile designer, printmaker and illustrator who, alongside her contemporaries Eric Ravilious and Edward Bawden, defined mid-century design. Perhaps best known for her iconic London underground fabrics, she was one of the first ever women to be named a Royal Designer for Industry. Incline Press was founded in 1993 by Graham Moss working out of Oldham and producing hand-bound, letterpress-printed books. Enid Marx was a supporter and contributor from their very first publication, an edition of 'Nursery Rhymes'.
