First cheap edition of the 1939 first printing. The publisher's retained copy. Original blue cloth with black titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A loverly near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents with the publisher's "Archive Copy" stamp to the title page are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the original dustwrapper which is lightly rubbed and nicked at the tips of the lightly faded spine. A lovely example of this scarce Detection Club "round robin".
