DEATH OF A DOXY. A Nero Wolfe Novel.

First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original patterned red cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Kenneth Farnhill designed dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh, with just a touch of fading to spine and a little rubbing to the spine tips. The contents, with a couple of light finger marks to the top edge of the closed text block, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the very good, rubbed and creased dustwrapper, which has tiny chip at the bottom of the front panel, a short closed tear at the spine fold and some fading to the red panel on the spine. Not price-clipped (16s net to the lower front flap).

The twenty-ninth Nero Wolfe novel. First published in America in August 1966, this British first edition followed in June 1967. (Hubin).
