First edition, first printing. Original red cloth with titles in black to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with attractive black and white drawings by Dorothy Craigie. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the boards gently bumped to the bottom corners and the cloth a little faded to the spine and edges. The contents, with some spotting to the text block edges, are otherwise clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the good original dustwrapper that is chipped with loss to the ends of the slightly darkned spine and spotted to the panels. Not price clipped (8s 6d net to the front flap).
