First edition. A scarce early European Pop-Art exhibition catalogue for the show held at the Moderna Museet 29th February - 12 April 1964. Publisher's original stapled card covers, the upper cover with black and white illustration by Roy Lichtenstein. Measuring 21.5 x 21.5 cms. 112 pp. + 4 fold-outs; 86 illustrations, 7 of which are tipped-in colour plates. The text (in Swedish) and plates including photos of the artists are printed on various coloured and textured paper. An excellent near fine copy, the covers clean with mild rubbing at the extremities, the contents clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps.

Scarce in this condition. The Pop Art design of the catalogue itself is by John Melin, one of Sweden's most renowned designers during the 1960's and 1970's. Edited by Carlo Derkert, K.G. Hultén, Billy Klüver, Louise O'Konor and Anna-Lena Wibom.
