First edition, first printing. Limited edition. Signed by the author. Publisher's original illustrated boards with titles in white to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. With 51 black and white illustrations throughout. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh, with just a touch of bumping to the head of the spine. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete in the near fine, lightly creased dustwrapper, that is a little rubbed and scuffed to the head of the flap folds and is otherwise remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped.

Issued in an edition of 3000 copies, from which this example is numbered 1729, and signed by Robert Rankin in black ink on the limitation page. A steampunk-adventure illustrated novel that reimagines Lewis Carroll's beloved children's classic 'Alice in Wonderland' and follows the eponymous Alice as she is abducted by aliens. A planned film adaptation has been in development since 2013, with independent film-maker Martin Gooch attached. Robert Rankin became the first Fellow of the Victorian Steampunk Society in September 2009.
