First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth with silver titles to the spine and small stamp to the lower board, in dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper that has just a touch of toning to the rear panel and is otherwise without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (16s net to the front flap).

The first edition in English, the first published edition being the Swedish translation published in Stockholm by P. A. Norstedt & Söners the previous year (Wobbe A41).
