Illustrated with wood engravings throughout. Printed of Zerkall in 12 point Modern Extended (series 7) type, with Modern no.20 and Victoria Titling for display. A fine copy.

Issued in an edition of 40 hardcover copies, from which this example is numbered '19'. There was a further edition of 190 copies in softcover. 'A Book of Emblems' was printed by the author between April and June 1998. The poems go back a lot further, though nowhere near as far as the ancient Model no.4 press which printed them.
