Issued in an edition of 26 lettered deluxe hardcovers from which this example is lettered 'B' and signed by the author and illustrator in black ink on the limitation page. 'Voices of Hades' was originally published in 2008 by Dark Regions Press, and is the second volume in Thomas' Hades Trilogy, following 'Letters from Hades' (2003) and followed by 'The Fall of Hades' (2010). A collection of short stories written between 2003 and 2023, this expanded edition includes the additional stories 'Acheron', 'The Bone Arena', 'Good Will Toward Men', and 'The Half-Damned Girl'. Frank Walls is a contemporary American artist known for his dark surrealist style and fantasy illustrations. He has produced cover art for science fiction and horror writers including Jeffrey Thomas, Jeff Strand, and Shane McKenzie (Walls, 2023).
