First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original black paper-covered boards with silver titles to the spine, in the Kim McGillivray illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. The top edge of the closed text-block has a few tiny indentations. Complete with the lightly rubbed original dustwrapper that has a thin, clean score to the rear flap fold, one centimetre of which has pierced through, and is otherwise without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£12.99 on the front flap).
