First edition, first printing. Original pictorial paper-covered boards, in matching dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the spine tips and corners a little rubbed, the head of the spine with a small bump. The contents, with a small bookseller's paper label to the front pastedown (covered by the dustwrapper flap), are otherwise clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased original dustwrapper that has a couple of yiny nicks at the head of the spine. A very attractive example of a fragile book.
The first and only book of poetry by Marc Bolan, the lead vocalist, guitarist and founder of the rock band T. Rex. The style and imagery of the poems are mysterious and psychedelic, rife with exotic, pagan imagery and surreal narratives that blend with Bolan's writing for T. Rex, particularly its early iteration as a psychedelic folk band.
