Illustrated endpapers, a black and white frontispiece, 81 black and white illustrations, and 127 colourised maps throughout. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the gilt fresh, with a light brown stain to the upper board, and just a little rubbing and bumping to the spine tips. The contents are clean throughout, and without inscriptions or stamps.
