THE DOG AT CLAMBERCROWN

First edition, first printing. Original purple cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Peter Reddick illustrated dustwrapper. Top edge purple. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth just a touch rubbed at the extremities is bright and fresh. The top corner of the front free endpaper has been clipped, the contents are otherwise complete and clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has some small chips at the head of the spine. An attractive example.

An autobiographical novel based around two journeys, one in which the adolescent author searches for a country pub in Kent, and another in which the adult author travels to Sicily.
