First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Kenneth Breese designed dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with a little rubbing and bumping to the extremities. The contents, a little spotted to the closed text block edge, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has several short closed tears and two chips with loss to the top edge of the rear panel. Not price-clipped (18s net to the lower front flap).
