Issued in an edition of 500 copies, from which this example is numbered 18, and signed by Kathe Koja and David Ho on the colophon. Kathe Koja's 1992 novel 'Bad Brains' was first published by Dell Abyss, horror imprint of Dell Publishing, NY. In her career thus far, Koja has been the recipient of prestigious horror writing awards including, but not limited to, the Shirley Jackson Award, Bram Stoker Award, ASPCA Henry Bergh Award, Gustavus Myers Award, Locus Award, and been a finalist for the Philip K. Dick Award and World Fantasy Award (Kathe Koja, 2025).
