ARTHUR O'LEARY: HIS WANDERINGS AND PONDERINGS IN MANY LANDS, edited by his Friend, Harry Lorrequer.

First edition. Three volumes. Illustrated with ten plates, etched by George Cruikshank. Nineteenth century full light brown calf; triple ruled and with decorative corner pieces in gilt to the upper and lower boards; five raised bands, gilt decorated compartments and titles in gilt to olive green morocco labels to the spine. Marbled endpapers, gilt decorated inner dentelles. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Half titles discarded by the binder. An attractive example, the bindings square and firm with a little rubbing and bumping to the spine edges and corners, the spines uniformly faded. The contents with some offsetting to the edges of the endpapers are otherwise clean throughout.
