Uncorrected proof copy of the first UK edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Inscribed presentation copy from Gaiman to multi-award winning fellow author Lavie Tidhar. Publisher's original illustrated gloss card covers, with titles in white, green and black to the spine and front cover. 14 x 20.5cm. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with a little rubbing and light creasing to the extremities. The contents, with a few light marks to the closed text block, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the price-clipped dustwrapper which is somewhat rubbed and creased due to it being significantly oversized to the proof. Scarce in this form.

Inscribed by Neil Gaiman in dark green on the half title alongside a doodle of the character Mr. Wednesday "- Lavie - / [doodle] / Neil Gaiman". An appealing association copy. Gaiman's acclaimed fantasy novel combines a classic Americana setting with mythological characters from around the world. Winner of the Hugo, Nebula, Locus and Bram Stoker Awards for best novel, and was adapted for television in 2017.
