The 'Artist edition', issued in an edition of 1000 copies, signed by the author Joe Hill, and illustrator Magdalena Kaczan in black ink to the limitation page. The Bible quotation on the slipcase 'Blessed Shall You Be When You Come In / Blessed Shall You Be When You Go Out' is taken from Deuteronomy 28:6, and has been interpreted as a promise of divine protection in all aspects of life. In the original context of the Bible, this is a promise from God, however in the context of Joe Hill's 'Horns', the reader might draw a connection between this phrase and protagonist Ig Perrish's satanic protection and physical transformation into a devilish figure as he searches for his girlfriend's killer. 'Horns' was first published in 2010 by William Morrow and Company, USA, and was nominated for the 2010 World Fantasy Award for best 'Novel'. It was the basis for the 2013 film of the same name, starring Daniel Radcliffe in the role of Ig Perrish.
