New illustrated edition. Publisher's original light green cloth, with gilt titles to the upper board and spine. With a frontispiece, 56 illustrations in black and white over 46 plates and two fold out maps. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, with bumping and rubbing to the extemeties. The contents have a previous owner's name to the front endpaper with some foxing to the endpapers and lightly throughout. Rear inner hinge cracked but holding firm.
