Early edition with Hugh Thomson illustrations. Recent dark green half morocco binding with marbled paper-covered boards, five raised bands and gilt titles and decorations to the spine. Illustrated throughout with black and white line drawings by Hugh Thomson, including a tissue-guarded frontispiece. A lovely near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the spine very slightly faded. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.
