First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original red cloth with gilt titles to the spine. Top edge red. In the dustwrapper. With map illustrations to the endpapers and chapter header decorations. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, a slight bump to the top corner of the upper board. The contents, with offsetting to the endpapers, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the original rubbed and nicked illustrated dustwrapper which is a little faded to the spine and has some very short closed tears to the hinges. Not price clipped (21s net to the front flap).
