Issued in a limited edition of 75 screenprints, from which this example is numbered 5, and signed by the artist Emily Sutton in pencil to the bottom-right corner. Born and raised in North Yorkshire, Emily graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2008. Her paintings and prints are inspired by the relics of a bygone era, afternoons immersed in the contents of the Museum of Childhood in Edinburgh and the Yorkshire countryside. She is the illustrator of over 10 picture books for children working with clients such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, Penguin Books, Faber & Faber, Bettys Tea Rooms and Fortnum and Mason. This frieze like image depicts some of the toys from the artist's extensive collection.
