First edition under this title and with these illustrations, first printing. Original blue paper-covered boards with titles in black to the spine and an illustration in black to the upper board, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with one colour plate and further black and white line drawings by Norman Meredith throughout. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the spine faded and the upper board with a strip of fading to the top edge. The paperstock is browned as usual, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased original dustwrapper featuring a wraparound illustration that is a little faded to the spine, with a small chip to the bottom edge of the rear panel, a small chip to the head of the spine and a short closed tear to the top edge of the front panel.
