Complete with the fine original dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£19.95 to the lower front flap).
Issued in an edition of 2001 copies, from which this example is numbered 344, and signed by Robert Rankin in black ink on the limitation page. The second book in the author's comedic fantasy 'The Final Brentford Trilogy' series, preceded by 'The Lord of the Ring Roads' (2017) and followed by 'Normanghast' (2023). In typical Rankin style, the book's title parodies a classic work of fantasy or science fiction, here spoofing C. S. Lewis's classic fantasy series 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. For this 'final adventure', fan-favourite Brentford locals Jim Pooley and John Omalley face an invasion of their hometown by the vengeful magical army of the 'First Folk', a faerie kingdom driven underground for centuries.
