First edition, first printing. Publisher's original bluish green cloth with titles in gilt to the spine and upper board. No dustwrapper. Illustrated endpapers and black and white drawings throughout by Clifford Webb. A good copy, the binding firm, the cloth split and frayed to the lower spine fold, with small nicks and chips to the tips of the slightly faded spine. The contents, lightly toned at the margins and with some faint spotting at the prelims, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.
