First UK edition, first printing. Original red cloth with black titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the spine tips and board edges with some slight fading. There is some sparse spotting to the closed text-block edge, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper which is lightly faded at the spine. Not price-clipped (9s 6d on the lower front flap). An attractive copy of a scarce title.
